ACCOUNTABILITY DAY IS COMING!

Why are your mighty ones face down? They do not stand because the LORD thrust them down. —Jeremiah 46:15

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account. —Hebrews 4:12-13

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. —Hebrews 4:15-16

            We are invited to come “to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”  Oh, that we would!  But we need to see that we are needy people.  Those who think they stand in their own strength will never come to the “throne of grace.”  Those who think they are mighty will end up face down.  They will not be able to stand because our Lord will thrust them down.  He will do so in this life, but the greater concern for people who magnify themselves against the Lord is that they will be thrust down, “go away to eternal punishment” (Matthew 25:46) and “thrown into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15), “into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41).  Oh, that they would come to their senses (II Timothy 2:25-26).

            God’s Word is powerful, “discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart” and “no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”  God knows all the thoughts of every person that has lived, is living or will live.  He also knows the very intentions of every person that has lived, is living or will live.”  Nobody gets away with anything… nobody!  They can be a President, a King or any person on the planet… they are all “exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”  No one will be exempt.  No one will excuse themselves.  All will stand before Him.  Nobody is getting away with anything… NOBODY!

            Condemning people is God’s place, not ours.  Let us seek to be faithful in what He has called us to and trust Him to do what is right in His time.  He will always do what is right.  We may not understand it now, but let us trust Him who is fully trustworthy.  Yes, we can trust Him fully!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgsbaBIaoVc

Dear Father I am so grateful to know that You are in control and that You are working out Your plans and purpose— even though I do not understand so much.  But I can trust You fully to do the right thing for the right purposes in the right timing.  Oh, that I would be and do what Your desire in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.
