SIN SHOULD SURELY TROUBLE THE FOLLOWER OF JESUS!

I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin. —Psalm 38:18

             If sin does not bother you, then you have a real problem and are in danger of eternal judgment.  Praise God, brothers and sisters, fellow followers/disciples of Jesus, that “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (I John 1:9) and then we are in fellowship with our Lord again.  We do not lose salvation because nothing “in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39).  We are safe in Him and our sin should trouble us and we should confess it immediately.  Truly we are to “Hate what is evil; cling to what is good” (Romans 12:9).
