ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD

But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the Lord had said. —Exodus 8:15

“Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.  Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” —Matthew 19:23-24

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it. —Psalm 24:1

Who is he, this King of glory?  The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory. —Psalm 24:10

There is a tendency to rely on our circumstances and on our materialism instead of looking to and relying on our Lord God Almighty.  Why would we not rely on “this King of glory?  The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory.”  After all, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.”  He has given to us, delegated to us, stewardship or manager responsibilities with what belongs to Him.  How will we respond?

Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.  Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”  Why is that?  It is because what we worship can be the circumstances we are in that are positive to us and/or the wealth that we depend on instead of Him.

“But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief,” what did he do?  He “hardened his heart” and he “would not listen to Moses and Aaron,” God’s spokesmen.  When the circumstances were tough, our Lord had Pharaoh’s ear and he appeared to be listening and willing to respond.  But as soon as the difficult circumstances passed, he would harden his heart and not listen.

It is said that after 9-11, that attack on the World Trade Towers, according to Gallup polls, that “religious attendance the first weekend after the attacks was up six percent from the weekend before.”  But it did not last.  When the initial difficult circumstances passed, people’s hearts hardened and would not listen.  They return to life as usual.

When the disciples asked, “Who then can be saved?”  Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”  So fortunately, God can break through at any time and impact people regardless of the circumstances and wealth.  So, let’s not limit what God can do in anyone’s life.  Look at what He has done in our own lives!

Dear Father, thank You for impacting my life and drawing me to Jesus.  Now, may I share this King of Glory with many others that they too may know Him by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  May it be so! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqo-adRyM_k&list=RDAqo-adRyM_k&start_radio=1
