DESIRING TO DO GOD’S WILL
I desire to do your will, my God. —Psalm 40:8
Yes, this is my desire. I want to do Your will and may I faithfully do so, trusting You to guide me as You have promised— “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you” (Psalm 32:8). May I be sensitive to Your Holy Spirit as You have told me that “when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come” (John 16:13). I know that “apart from (You) you can do nothing” (John 15:5). Thank You for You have said—
“You are My friends if you do what I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not understand what his master is doing. But I have called you friends, because everything I have learned from My Father I have made known to you. You did not choose Me, but I chose you. And I appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will remain—so that whatever you ask the Father in My name, He will give you. This is My command to you: Love one another.” —John 15:14-17
So, Dear Father, may I be faithful to Your desires by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. This is truly my desire. I want to honor You by bearing much fruit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yQ6TLV_PWY&list=RD2yQ6TLV_PWY&start_radio=1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLDEt9KP2O0&list=RD2yQ6TLV_PWY&index=2
