LIVING ACCORDING TO GOD’S WILL, NOT EVIL HUMAN DESIRES

As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. —I Peter 4:2

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. —I Peter 4:10

             What is your purpose in life?  Who are you living for?  Why are you living?  Those who have called on Jesus to save them “do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.”  Is that what you and I, as followers/disciples of Jesus, are doing?

             Those who have called on Jesus “should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”  So, what is the gift(s) you have received?  How are you using the gift(s) to serve others?  Are you being a faithful steward of God’s grace in whatever form He has given you?  Who will you serve today?  “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:17).  May this all be according to the will of God.  Yes, Dear Father, may it be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  May this be all for Your glory and honor.  So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHRZxkluZ_Q&list=RDOHRZxkluZ_Q&start_radio=1
