LIVING LIFE IN THE LIGHT OF HIS WILL!

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. —Ephesians 5:8-11

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. —Ephesians 5:15-17

Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free. —Ephesians 6:7-8

Brothers and sisters, fellow followers of Jesus.  We are to be disciples of Jesus, being “very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”  It is true that “you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.  Is this how you and I are living?  Are we: being careful in our living, being wise in our living, making the most of every opportunity, understanding what our Lord’s will is, living as children of light, finding out what pleases our Lord, having nothing to do with the fruitless deed of darkness, exposing the deeds of darkness?  Is it how we are living?

Are we serving “wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free.”  Is this how we are serving?  How are we serving?  Are we serving?  Remember, first we are serving our Lord in whatever we do.  Is that our attitude and motivation?  Truly, we need to “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”  Oh Dear Father, may I live like this, desiring to know Your will and lovingly obey Your will by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  May it be so!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-816LEY-F9U&list=RD-816LEY-F9U&start_radio=1
