DOES THIS DESCRIBE YOU?

His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. —Ephesians 3:10-11

To grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. —Ephesians 3:18-19

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up… as each part does its work. —Ephesians 4:11-12, 16

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. —Psalm 9:1

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. —Psalm 9:10

             It is God’s intent that “through the church, the manifold (many variations of) wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.  How is that happening with you?

             First, does this describe you? —Are people seeing “, the manifold (many variations of) wisdom of God” in and through you?  And this wisdom is “according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”  Are people seeing that in and through you?

             Second, does this describe you?  Are you “grasp(ing) how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and (are you knowing) this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God?”  The more we grow in our love for God, the more passion we will have to be and do what God desires.  Jesus said, “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love” (Luke 7:47).  The more we grasp how much we have been forgiven, the more we will love Him!

             Third, does this describe you?  Are you being equipped “for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up… as each part does its work?”  Do you know what that work is?  “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).  So, what is the work God has for you?  Will you do it?

Fourth, does this describe you?  “I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”  Are you regularly giving thanks to our Lord with your whole heart?  Are you telling others of all His wonderful deeds?  When/who have you told recently?  When was the last time?  May we do so regularly!

             Fifth, does this describe you?  I am trusting You Lord because You “have never forsaken those who seek you.”  You have said, “I am with you until the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20) and “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”  Are you trusting Him… in all things?  May it be so, Dear Father, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLDEt9KP2O0&list=RDBLDEt9KP2O0&start_radio=1
