WHAT YOU SOW YOU WILL HARVEST
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. —II Corinthians 9:6-7
When you want a very productive garden you need to sow much seed. That way the possibility of a good harvest is probable. So too when we sow in the kingdom of God. “Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” This is surely true of material wealth, but not just with our treasure, but with our time, talents and giftedness as well. However we sow in the kingdom of God, be sure that that there will be a harvest. So, “let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9).
But as we sow, let us do it with the right attitude. We—
- Should decide in our heart what to give
- Should give without reluctance
- Should give without being compelled
- Should give cheerfully
This is the type of giver our Lord loves. Dear Father, may I be that type of giver by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. Be pleased to harvest through my sowing! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rE_PNUNmw9c&list=RDrE_PNUNmw9c&start_radio=1
