JUDGMENT IS COMING CLOSER!
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. —II Corinthians 5:10
By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames. —I Corinthians 3:10-15
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. —Hebrews 4:13
But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. —I Peter 4:5
In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead… —II Timothy 4:1
The Day is drawing closer when we will be giving an account before our Lord God Almighty. The way we live for Him, or don’t live for Him, will determine “what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” On that day of Judgment by our Lord, if anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. Nobody will escape judgment because “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.
