OUR LORD GOD IS OUR HELP!

With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles. —II Chronicles 32:8

They spoke about the God of Jerusalem as they did about the gods of the other peoples of the world—the work of human hands. —II Chronicles 32:19

And the Lord sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the commanders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king.  So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. —II Chronicles 32:21

            The Lord our God is our help.  Who can stand against Him?  Who can overpower Him?  He is Sovereign over all!  The Assyrians found this out as they treated Him like all the other gods of the nations which are the work of human hands— of human minds.  But our Lord God Almighty is not like the gods of the nations and the Assyrians found that out when our Lord God sent one angel “who annihilated all the fighting men and the commanders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king.”  The “arm of flesh” cannot overcome the King of kings and Lord of lords.  Can we not trust Him with our lives?  Of course we can and may we do so, Dear Father, by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  May this be all for Your honor and glory.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFvPOZ2Oay8&list=RDvFvPOZ2Oay8&start_radio=1
