TO THE “KNOW IT ALL”
TO THE “KNOW IT ALL”
“Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me. —Job 38:2-3
Surely you know, for you were already born! You have lived so many years! —Job 38:21
Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. —Psalm 145:3
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. —Psalm 145:13
The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. ——Psalm 145:17-18
Go ahead, you who think you “know it all” and I challenge you to answer the roughly 65 questions our Lord asks Job in the book of Job, chapters 37-41. Just like my Lord said to Job, so also, He says to you— “Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge?” You think you understand Him and His ways and that you know better than Him? Then He says to you— “Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me.” Go ahead… take His test and see how well you do!
Do you think you have lived so many years and that through your years you have attained a wealth of knowledge? Compared to my Lord, you and I know so little. Truly, think about the little knowledge we use on a daily basis compared to the unmeasurable knowledge all around us. Surely, “Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom.”
All the kings and kingdoms are but passing shadows, fleeting foggy whisps so quickly dissipating and then… gone. But, “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations.” There is no beginning or ending to His Kingdom. He has always been and will always be the King of glory—
“Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The Lord Almighty— he is the King of glory.” —Psalm 24:7-10
“The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” If you have not called on Him who is the “king of kings and lord of lords” (Revelation 19:19), do so now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYZw0dfLmLk&t=152s Dear Father, for any who are reading this who have not called on Jesus, may they do so now by the power of Your Holy Spirit please enable them and in the authority of Jesus may they do so and all for Your Honor and glory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yp-tCgsLgFo&list=RDYp-tCgsLgFo&start_radio=1
