SERVE HE KING AND INVITE OTHERS INTO HIS KINGDOM!

SERVE THE KING AND INVITE OTHERS INTO HIS KINGDOM!

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” —Isaiah 52:7

See, my servant will act wisely;  he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.  Just as there were many who were appalled at him— his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness— Isaiah 52:13-15

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.  But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.  We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. —Isaiah 53:4-6

Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path… My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end. —Psalm 119:105, 112

King Jesus said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.”  Yes, Jesus was sent to proclaim the good news of the Kingdom, His Kingdom.  Brothers and sisters, fellow followers of Jesus, this is the Kingdom we are in— the Kingdom of Light, the Kingdom of our Father’s Son!  This is the good news we are to bring to others!  This is what make feet beautiful—

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” —Romans 10:14-15

Jesus went to the cross, coronated with a crown and clothed in a purple robe, lifted upon the cross.  He was so disfigured as not to appear as a man.  He suffered all this because of His love for us— “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters” (I John 3:16; John 3:16).  But then, “he was shown to be the Son of God when he was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. He is Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 1:4).  Now “we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).

Now His “word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path… My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.”  Yes, Dear Father, may this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and I the authority of Your Son Jesus who has called me to proclaim the good news.  May I not be distracted or diverted from this but run the race You have marked out for me with perseverance, keeping my eyes fixed on Jesus.  Yes, may this be so and all for Your honor and glory and for the benefit of many others.  So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFRjr_x-yxU&list=RDXFRjr_x-yxU&start_radio=1
