OUR LORD IS ALWAYS GOOD!
OUR LORD IS ALWAYS GOOD!
The Lord will do what is good in his sight. —II Samuel 10:12
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you. Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord. They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness. —Psalm 89:14-16
Our Lord always does what is good in His sight… always. Now you say, if that is true then why is their suffering, conflict, mourning, death and so many tears and heartache? Hold it… wait… are you trying to say that is our Lord God Almighty’s fault? Don’t you know or remember what happened in the beginning?
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” —Genesis 2:15-27
One command, just one that they were to obey. And what was the outcome of their time in the Garden?
“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ ” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” —Genesis 3:1-9
They disobey and now sin, disobedience has mushroomed to what we have today. Yes, there are some who would say, “Well, if I were in Adam and Eve’s place, I would have not disobeyed. Really, have you ever disobeyed in your life? Yes, you have plenty of times. We all have. We are no better than Adam and Eve. This fallen, messy, sinful and dark world is our fault, not our Lord’s.
“Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne.” This has been true in eternity past and is true forever. It is man who practices wickedness and injustice. It is God who is loving and faithful. It is man who is hateful and unfaithful.

They rejoice in your name all day long; they celebrate your righteousness.” Yes, those who know Jesus are blessed, they acclaim Him, they walk in the light of His presence, they rejoice in His Name and celebrate His righteousness which they have by calling on His Name (Romans 1-:13; II Corinthians 5:21). So we thank You, Dear Father, for all You have done for us. Out of gratefulness, may we live according to Your desires by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. Yes, so may it be and all for Your honor and glory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bo9ZWX1lEKI&t=1377s
