ARE YOU READY?

It is you alone who are to be feared.  Who can stand before you when you are angry? —Psalm 76:7

            Do you fear God?  That is, do you have a proper perspective on Who He is and your attitude toward Him is one of respect and admiration?  Do you understand that after death you will appear before Him like every other person who has lived on this planet?  Those who are followers of Jesus will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ to give an account as to how they lived for Jesus (II Corinthians 5:10).  Those who are not followers of Jesus will appear before Him at the White Throne Judgment condemned forever (Revelation 20:11-15).  Which will you appear at?

            Jesus has all authority in Heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18).  Think of how large the earth is.  Jesus has all authority over it.  Then think how enormous the universe is.  Jesus not only has all authority over it, but He created it.  Not only that, but Jesus has all authority in Heaven as well.  All the angels are in submission to Him.  Everything is in submission to Him and yet it does not “appear” so now, but in the future everything will be in subjection to Him and fully known to be so His will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

            Are you ready to meet Him?  Death could happen at any moment and then you will appear at one place or the other—- at the Judgment Seat of Christ for those following Jesus or The Great White Throne Judgment for those who never called on Jesus to save them from sin to a relationship with Him.  Where will you be?  The time is approaching… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=17s
