NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR OUR LORD!
Thus says the LORD, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD of hosts is his name: “If this fixed order departs from before me, declares the LORD, then shall the offspring of Israel cease from being a nation before me forever.” —Jeremiah 31:35-36
‘Ah, Lord GOD! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you. —Jeremiah 32:17
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?” —Jeremiah 32:27
Nothing, absolutely nothing is too hard for our Lord. He can do anything. He—
- Gives the sun for light by day
- Fixed the order of the moon for light by night
- Fixed the order of the stars for light by night
- Stirs up the sea so that its waves roar
Yes, He has done all this and “If this fixed order departs from before me, declares the LORD, then shall the offspring of Israel cease from being a nation before me forever.” So as long as the sun, moon and stars are shining and the waves of the sea roar, Israel will continue as a nation. That is the only reason why Israel, as many times it has been out of the land, is back in the land today. Because nothing is too hard for our Lord to do and His plans and purposes are going forward and will come to a conclusion sometime in the future as this present world will pass away and those who have not called on Jesus “will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life” (Matthew 25:46). Call on Jesus today if you have not already. You never know when your last day will be and death seals destiny— whether you are following Jesus which leads to eternal life, or whether you did not follow Jesus which leads to an eternity in hell.
