JESUS SET ME FREE!

The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is held fast in the cords of his sin. He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is led astray. —Proverbs 5:22-23

People need to “come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will” (II Timothy 2:28).  They are doing the devil’s will.  They are ensnared by him and are “held fast in the cords of his sin.”  This person in this predicament has a lack of discipline and because of his great follow, “he is led astray.”

How does one escape from the devil and he schemes?  It is only by God will granting “them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth.”  We bring the message of good news about Jesus, “For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
