CRY OUT TO JESUS!

CRY OUT TO JESUS!

Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons, for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. —Psalm 107:10-11

Some were fools through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction; they loathed any kind of food, and they drew near to the gates of death. —Psalm 107:17-18

Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. —Psalm 107:28

Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the LORD. —Psalm 107:43

Rebellion against our Lord is not a winning situation.  Oh, “to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin” (Hebrews 11:25) is what so many gravitate to.  But those pleasures are only fleeting because they are in need that “God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will” (II Timothy 2:25-26).  They are Satan’s prisoners in darkness and near death.  Satan offers people a false sense of security as he holds the in the bondage of sin.  They think they are in control of their own lives when all the while Satan stealthily has them chained.  This is the position of those who have “rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High.”

Is this a hopeless situation?  No!  Cry out to the Lord and He will deliver you.  Here is His answer for you—  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=24s If you have never called on Him to save you from your sin to a relationship with Him, do so now—

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:9-13).

“Whoever is wise, let him attend to these things; let them consider the steadfast love of the LORD.”  Then act and call on Him because “I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation” (II Corinthians 6:2).  Don’t put it off.  You never know when you are going to draw Your last breath!  Call on Him now! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW5o2uBeMWQ
