PROCLAIM JESUS!

PROCLAIM JESUS!

Truly no man can ransom another, or give to God the price of his life, for the ransom of their life is costly and can never suffice, that he should live on forever and never see the pit. —Palm 49:8-9

But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you, delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles—to whom I am sending you to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’ —Acts 26:16-18

Sin is an eternal issue which brings judgment— eternal judgment!  Right from the beginning, Adam and Eve were cast out of their close fellowship with God in Eden because of their sin against Him— that was a judgment.  But that judgment was a picture of what is coming for every single person that will not accept the free gift of salvation through Jesus. They will be judged, but that will be an eternal judgment.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD6khv6pGkw&t=15s Separation from God forever!

No man is good enough to pay the ransom for another sinful man or take the judgment for any other man.  Sin is eternal and it would take someone that could pay that eternal sin debt.  That is why it took the eternal Son of God, Jesus, to do the eternal work that no man could do—

“Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work impartially, live out your time as foreigners here in reverent fear. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.” —I Peter 1:17-21

The apostle Paul clearly brought this message to all who would listen and we, brothers and sisters, fellow followers of Jesus, are to do the same.  We are to do so that people “may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me (Jesus).”  So as Paul was faithful sharing this good news with people, so may we!  Yes, Dear Father, may we be faithful to share the gospel, the good news, with many by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son and my Lord, Jesus.  So be it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSM96OA39ic
