TRUSTING MY LORD’S WORD AND GUIDANCE FIRSTMOST!

But I trust in you, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.”  My times are in your hand. —Psalm 31:14-15

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. —Psalm 32:6

            Trust… who do you trust?  Whose word can you trust?  Why do you trust them?  Are they trustworthy?  Why are they trustworthy?  How do you know you can trust them?  Do you trust them because their lives line up with their words?  Are you trusting someone without even knowing them?

            I have always believed if you want to manipulate a people or country, use the media that can’t be easily checked out and held accountable.  I have very little trust for what is said in the media unless it lines up with the Word of God.  The Word of God is all I can fully trust.  I seek to measure everything by what God says.  He knows what is best.

            If you are trusting the “news” from any media, be careful to check it out and don’t just believe what they are saying.  The “news people” are quick to slander and gossip about others that they themselves more than likely do not even know and never have spent time with.  Much of the “news” I dare say is fiction— made up… Beware.

            I am so glad to know I can fully trust my Lord.  He has my times in His hand and has promised to instruct me and teach me the way to go.  I will seek to listen to His counsel and measure everything by what He says.  How comforting it is to know Him and be able to trust Him fully, even with the things I do not understand. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1xlpcu3gsU

Dear Father, I am so glad to know I can trust Your Word fully and that You promise to teach and guide me.  May my ear be open to what You say and then do what You desire.  May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.
