GOD’S WORD ONLY CAN BE FULLY TRUSTED!
GOD’S WORD ONLY CAN BE FULLY TRUSTED!
The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple. —Psalm 119:130
I rise before dawn and cry for help; I hope in your words. —Psalm 119:147
Whose word do you trust? Man’s or God’s? “Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save” (Psalm 146:3). There are those who put way too much trust in people, thinking they will be the savior or solution to a situation. But it is our Lord God Almighty that is over everything. He knows everything about everything and every body at all times. He knows your name! The Creator knows your name! The Creator and Sustainer of everything and everybody knows your name! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APrllK_HRLI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Um1e4Vor8IQ
Yes, I trust in His Word. I will not question His Word. I will seek to understand more and more what He has said and seek to apply what I understand to my life. “The unfolding of your words gives light; it imparts understanding to the simple.” I am a simple man and I desire the light and understanding the “unfolding” of His Word gives. Yes, I desire that.
Each day I desire to rise, wanting His help for the day and hope in the Word that He gives me. Isaiah 50:4 is a foundational to my life— “The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he awakens morning by morning, he awakens my ear to hear as the learned.” He—
- Gives the ability to speak
- Gives this ability comes when learning from Him takes place
- Gives the ability how to speak
- Gives this ability to speak a word in the right season
- Gives this ability to speak those who are weary
- Gives this ability through persistent, consistent and perseverance in meeting Him each morning
- Gives an awakening to my ear to hear as a learned person.
This is our Lord’s God’s loving desire—to give to us to be more like Him! It is only possible when we fully trust His Word and put it into practice. — “So He said to the Jews who had believed Him, ‘If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”’ (John 8:31-32). Are you truly His disciple? Are you continuing in His Word— obedient to what He says? Are you filled with joy because of the truth you know of Him and His ways? Do you rejoice in the freedom He has given You? All this comes when we hope in His Word, trusting His Word fully. Do You?
Dear Father, may I fully trust Your Word at all times above all other people’s Words. May this be so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus, my Lord and King, Savior and friend. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zaaiFp4RSM&list=PLumF88DYxDOpwzpsUwnT3vfEe35eOBVrc
