GOD PREPARES HIS PEOPLE FOR THE WORK HE HAS FOR THEM

And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.” Joseph answered Pharaoh, “It is not in me; God will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.”  Then Pharaoh said to Joseph… —Genesis 41:15-16

 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find a man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?” Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has shown you all this, there is none so discerning and wise as you are. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall order themselves as you command. Only as regards the throne will I be greater than you.” And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” —Genesis 41:38-41

Now Joseph was governor over the land. —Genesis 42:6

            God gives abilities to men and he places them in the right place at the right time to do the right thing to have a right outcome according to His righteous plans and purposes.  So, why has our Lord God Almighty have you in the place you are right now at this time?  What is the right thing that He desires of you to fulfill His righteous plans and purposes?  Do you know?  Are you listening to what He is saying to You from His Word?  Will you lovingly obey what He is saying?

            The experiences, abilities, giftedness, personality, place, time are all used by God to accomplish His desires in a person’s life, just as He did in Joseph’s.  Joseph was a willing servant who gave glory to God.  He did not claim the abilities God gave to him as coming from himself.  God made you who you are for specific purposes as well.  Will you be lovingly obedient to Him and carry them out? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkSBmRAVXNc

Dear Father whatever desires You have for me and show me, may I be lovingly obedient to carry them out.  May this be so out of my love for You and in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus.  So may it be!
