YOU ARE IN THE KINGDOM OF LIGHT OR THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS

YOU ARE IN THE KINGDOM LIGHT OR THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS

And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” —John 3:19-21

There are two kingdoms in this world and only two.  There is the Kingdom/Domain of God/heaven/light/His Son and there is the Kingdom/Domain of Satan/hell/darkness/demons.  Every person that has lived, is living or will live is in one or the other.  There are no in-betweens.

Plain and simply there are those who love darkness and evil.  They desire to lived wickedly and hate the light because the light exposes there evil deeds for what they are.  It is a sad thing that there are those who would rather be bound by Satan to do his will (II Timothy 2:26).

On the other hand there are those who desire to be in the light, to serve along with what God is doing.  They do not fear to come into the light because their works are being done through them by God.

Those who want to do evil will not be forced from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light by God.  God gives them a choice and whoever calls on the Lord will be saved (Romans 10:13) out of the domain of Satan and into the domain of God (Acts 26:18).  But there comes a time where those who do not want to follow Him are let go by God to live like they want to live (Romans 1:24, 26, 28).  When God gives people over to their own devices 1- They are mentally unstable (Romans 1:21, 28) 2- They worship and serve created things (vs. 23, 25) 3- They practice sexual immorality of all sorts (vs. 24, 26-27) 4- They don’t think it is worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God.  When this happens they become filled with every king of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity (Romans 1:29-32).

Yes, this is the result of hating the light and loving darkness.  Brothers and sisters, let us rejoice because even though—

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. —II Corinthians 4:4-6

Thank You Father for the light that comes through proclaiming Your Word.  Let us do so by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son Jesus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENtL_li4GbE
