REMEMBER
REMEMBER
I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? —Psalm 77:11-13
What deed or deeds of our Lord come right to your mind? What came to mind and why did that come to mind? I just thought about when He created in six days. How awesome was that! Think of the power, the creativity, the design, the interconnectedness and then He made man to be a steward of it! Wow!
We are told to ponder and mediate on His work, on His deeds. What power! What care! What compassion! What purpose! What plan! All of this is for us. The same God who created all things is still working, is still holding all things together (Colossians 1:15-18). Surely I can trust Him fully for what He desires to do in my life. “He knows the future better than I can remember the past” as someone said. But let me remember what I can and learn from the past to apply what I need to in the present and in the future.
There is none like our God. There is none like the Son of God. There is none like the Holy Spirit of God. We are so fortunate to be called “children of God” (Romans 8:16; Galatians 3:26; Philippians 2:15; I John 3:1, 2, 10; 5:19). Let Him who created all things work His power in and through our lives. Dear Father may it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus. So be it!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zatMxbhWoi0
