DISOBEDIENCE— IT WILL NOT GO WELL!

If you will fear the LORD and serve him and obey his voice and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, and if both you and the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God, it will be well.  But if you will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then the hand of the LORD will be against you and your king —I Samuel 12:14-15

            America has turned its back on the Lord for the most part.  This nation does not fear the Lord.  Its leaders and its people are largely rebelling against Him.  They do not serve Him or obey His voice.  We are in great danger of the Lord’s hand being against us and if that is the case then nothing or nobody can save this nation from His judgment.

            No, we do not fear the Lord…

As a nation do we really want the Lord’s hand against us?  Are we provoking Him to anger?  Do we really want to experience His judgment?  Our leaders and “we the people” need to repent, turn from our ways and obey the voice of the Lord.  If we do not, then why would God not judge this nation?
