NONE LIKE HIM!

As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.  For who is God besides the Lord?  And who is the Rock except our God?  It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.  —Psalm 18:30-32

            God’s ways are perfect… all His ways.  All He does is good and righteous.  His speech is flawless.  He never needs to ask for forgiveness or apologize because He never does anything wrong… never!

            Brother and sister, take great comfort in knowing that He shields all of us who take refuge in Him.  We are safe and secure in Him.  “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:9-13).  Let us rejoice in the salvation we have in the finished work of Jesus!

            There is none like our Lord God Almighty.  He only is the Rock.  He alone gives us strength and He keeps our way secure.  How grateful we should be for Who He Is and what He has done, is doing and will do.  Let us lovingly serve Him for the very reason that we love Him.
