THE END OF SATAN AND HIS FOLLOWERS
He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time. —Revelation 20:2-3
When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. —Revelation 20:7-8
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. —Revelation 20:10
Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire. —Revelation 20:15
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. —II Corinthians 4:4
Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. —II Timothy 2:25-26

Satan is a deceiver of individuals and nations. Deception is a major scheme of his. It was what he used with Eve— “And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner” (I Timothy 2:14). He has used deception ever since. Deception is making something to appear to be real when it is not. It is making something to appear true when it is not. It is making something appear to be right when it is not.
But Satan’s end is coming! A time in the future is drawing near where he will experience his doom along with all who follow him. Then, brother and sister, we will be with Jesus and all who love Him… forever in that perfect place! May this be soon! Dear Father, thank You for Your Word revealing to us what is to take place and how we are to live for You now. Oh, may I live and love according to Your purposes for the rest of my life in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. So be it!
