Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. The King of glory is who we serve! There is none other like Him. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14; 19:16). Every knee will bow to Him one day and acknowledge who He is Lord whether they want to or not (Philippians 2:9-11). Yes, He is the King of glory.

Jesus is the King of glory and that makes those who follow Him His servants. What a joy to serve the One who always has our best interests in mind. It is staggering to my mind to think how He left His throne in heaven to come to this speck of a planet to die for the sin of those that live on that speck. Truly astounding! Today, be faithful to Him. Be and do what He desires and shine for Him. Dear Father may it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Jesus. Yes, so be it!
