BE THANKFUL

For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. As the Scriptures say, “People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And that word is the Good News that was preached to you. —I Peter 1:23-25

It is clear “Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” We are born-again and now have eternal life which came from the “living word of God.” Then “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” (Romans 10:17). Today, and every day, let us give thanks for the mercy and grace of the Lord God Almighty upon us— seen through the birth, life, death and resurrection of Jesus our Lord and giving eternal life to “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord” (Romans 10:13). May it be so!
