HE IS WONDERFUL!

HE IS WONDERFUL!

Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen! The prayers of David, the son of Jesse, are ended. —Psalm 72:18-20

God has done such wondrous things.  Think about some of which He has done.  He created light and separated it from darkness.  He created water, sky, soil, seed, the vast universe, all water life, all winged life, all land life, all mankind, all microscopic life and all macroscopic life.  Not only has He created these things, but He holds all things together so they continue to exist!

He, the Creator of all, is glorious.  May we share His glory with all the earth.  Oh, His designing hand and power is known to all and nobody, not one can deny the evidence that He exists (Psalm 19:1-4; Romans 1:18-32).  One can make the choice to disbelieve, but when they do so they plunge themselves into deeper darkness and slide done the slope of wickedness, ensnared by Satan who is holding them captive to do his will (II Timothy 2; 26).

Brother and sister, praise the Lord for His glory that is revealed.  Look up at the moon and understand that He has kept that piece of rock revolving around the earth for centuries upon centuries.  That moon will continue to do so to the end of time.  Look at the flowers and trees and understand that God takes care of them day by day and has done so since the beginning of time.  Consider the animals and the amount of food they consume on a daily basis and it is God that provides for them.  All life in the earth’s waters are known and have had their needs supplied for moment by moment from when God first created them.

His designed creation is so evident whether we consider the exact placement of the earth so life could exist or the complexity of the eye.  We could consider the enormous power of our sun, so small when compared to others in the universe, but a tremendous heat and light source.  It too was created to move its circuit at just the right place so life could exist without be fried or frozen on this sphere we survive on.  As it is, just consider the coldest place on the earth or the hottest place on the earth and ponder what earth would be like if we were just a little closer to the sun or a little further away.

Now, what were you concerned about?  Do you think our Great Creator can handle Your situation?  The earth and all creation are full of His glory.  His hand is over it all.  Does that not include you?  Consider His glory and put your faith in Him!

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. —Matthew 8:26

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” —Mathew 14:31

Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread? —Matthew 16:8

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you–you of little faith! —Luke 12:28

Dear Father, I am so glad for Your revealed glory in Your creation.  But then You have also given us Your Word, Your Son, Your Spirit!  Oh, that I would live by the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son that Your glory may be seen in and through my life— all glory is yours! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xOCRYENXTk&index=2&list=UUf1NPIFOBwzTLVQiEDnq4Cw
