THE COMING REJOICING!

THE COMING REJOICING!

Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy. Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness. —Psalm 96:12-13

For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. —Romans 8:19-22

But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. —II Peter 3:13

Look at the beauty of flowers, mountains, trees, lakes and oceans. They bring joy to our heart as we stand in awe of the Creator who made them. Since sin entered the Creation it “waits in eager expectation” to “be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.”

We who have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ also wait and “When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:31). The time of His coming is getting closer.

All Creation will rejoice at His coming. It will be released from the “bondage of decay.” Let’s try to imagine what the Garden of Eden must have been like before sin impacted it. It did not decay — beautiful flowers and fruit all the time. The flower garden outside our door brings great joy with its beautiful colorful flowers and their design. Unfortunately they do not last very long before they fade and are gone for another fall and winter. Yet in the Garden of Eden there was color all the time. Fruit available all the time. No decay… Think about that!

Not only will we rejoice at the Lord’s coming, but all Creation will! Let us look forward with great expectation! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulos5q69uZc

Dear Father, I rejoice at Your Creation and so look forward to Your New Creation where only righteousness dwells. Oh Yes, I so look forward to that time and the rejoicing that will take place. May I be faithful now and encourage others to be ready for that time as well. May it be so in the power of Your Holy Spirit and in the authority of Your Son, Jesus.
